The POWHER Awards have been initiated by the non-profit association POWHER - Female Entrepreneurs Basel which was founded in 2022 by Karin, Doug, Leonie, Daniela, Stephy and Maurus with the support of the Innovation Office University of Basel, FEMtrepreneurs, Impact Hub Basel, Basel Area Business & Innovation, and Startup Academy (Schweiz).
