A Trailblazer in Immuno-Oncology.

Marina Udier, the dynamic CEO of Nouscom, is redefining cancer treatment through innovative immuno-oncology solutions. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Basel, Nouscom specializes in developing next-generation cancer vaccines that harness the immune system's power. With a dedicated team of 60 professionals, the company is advancing clinical trials for its flagship products, including NOUS-209, aimed at treating solid tumors and preventing cancer in Lynch Syndrome patients.

Under Marina's leadership, Nouscom has successfully raised over €80 million, fostering job creation and establishing Basel as a biotech hub. Committed to diversity, 70% of her executive team are women, reflecting her dedication to empowering future generations. Marina’s vision not only drives business growth. but also champions sustainable practices within the industry.

TRUEDI HÄMMERLI

In honor of a pioneer for women in innovation.

Trudi Hämmerli was a trailblazer in the Swiss entrepreneurial scene and one of the driving voices that encouraged us to found the Female Entrepreneurs Basel Association and the POWHER Awards. As Managing Director of TruStep Consulting and a board member of Innosuisse and Artidis, she dedicated her career to the empowerment of women. Her initiative promoted female investment in innovation, reflecting her commitment to inclusivity. Trudi's work for Novartis and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association further advanced women's careers in healthcare. It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to her in the summer of 2024, after she lost her battle with breast cancer. We honor her legacy by continuing her vision for women's empowerment and innovation.
